Hey, Pat!

I still wish they offered a manual transmission. If money were no object, I'd buy a '19 & then have an aftermarket manual installed. I don't care what anyone says about the strength of modern automatics, fuel economy, or market demand, the customer is still always right & I still want a manual transmission! If there was a better gas engine option in the 2010 Supers than the 5.4, I would have bought one used instead of getting my '16, just to get the manual transmission.

Bill, does your '10 have an open differential or is it an electronic one?

I agree, there's something about manual stuff that you just know it works, and if something breaks it's far easier to troubleshoot and fix. I've always looked at older stuff first for those reasons, I guess...so this '10 is much different for me in that regard.

Neil, I'm not 100% certain on that. I think it's open.

Bill, if you have the e-locker the ESOF should have the symbol like mine in the lower left corner. To activate it, just pull the **** out like you would the head light switch. The e-locker will automatically engage and disengage depending on your speed.

Good to know. I'll look here in a bit when I leave.

Yeah, the sun has popped back out here but it's still not all that warm, barely 50. But I'm a bit up the hill in terms of elevation from where you are

No problem Bill. It is Ford's replacement to the old limited slip rear ends so you end up with the best of both worlds. Add in the traction control, these trucks go quite well in adverse conditions.

Morning folks, happy Taco Tuesday. Yes as it is election day, get out and vote.

Neil - the answer to the e-Locker thing is "no"...I don't have that symbol under my 4x4 switch.

Hey, Neil! It's going well. Voted this morning. Answered some emails. Just came out of an easy meeting without any new assignments or responsibilities. The sun is actually shining.... It going really well!

I'm dropping an old TV off at our county electronics recycling event this afternoon. It's just been taking up space in the basement for a while now. I have to run the den meeting tonight for cub scouts. It's a pretty busy day, but nothing too strenuous.

How about you?
