My OEM units the lower convex mirrors are seeming to have the paint or whatever it is on the back chipping.....I want to remove these mirrors to re do the backs, Can anyone tell me how to remove THESE mirrors from the main mirror housings? Thanks!
Lower are easy. Tilt all the way to one side, get your fingers behind there and gently pull. Mirror will pop out. Disconnect wires if you have heated mirrors. Reinstall in reverse order. The top mirror comes out the same way, but it’s in there a little tighter.
