I know it won't be out of the State like I would want while Patty's father is still alive. They've doubled the rain tax to $22. a month, now this tax is $50. a year and to increase 8% each year. I feel like I'm being robbed.
Peoria has been here for over 300 years and survived without these taxes till this year. The first installment of the rain tax bought property that the City wants to build apartments on. They also want to buy the water company, I'm sure that is where this new tax will be used for.
The City is also in the hole for 7 million from a bad deal with a developer that hosed them twice.
