My wife stopped watching the Hallmark Channel a couple years ago, but I saw that truck on line somewhere before. It is nice.

I think it’s an 56’ M100, because they are selling it as an ornament.

See the chrome trim on the dip rail? Reminds me of the door edge guards from the early 60's. I kind of like the look if there is lots of chrome elsewhere.

I don't think it's a Mercury unless the letters were removed from the hood's leading edge

Here is a picture of this truck I had in my computer folder of 53-56 trucks. I'm not sure where I copied it from:

The hubcaps say FORD.

How can it be snowing when the sun is out reflecting off the truck's chrome?

Is the wreath and the greenery photoshopped on? The snow looks photoshopped.

For those that watched the movie, is there a reason why the garland on the passenger side is missing?

it's a '53 grill and afa the garland missing... if it has anything to do with the Hallmark Channel they tend to be heavy on the romance/mystery and light on
obvious missing details... the women don't mind as long as they get their fix of romance/mystery. They started their Christmas movie marathon last Saturday
my dvd recorder is in 24/7 record mode and wife is in 24/7 watch mode. It all tends to take the edge off Christmas for me. How come Clint Eastwood or John Wayne or
the Rock never made Christmas movies, eh ??

Hallmark had 3 reruns of Columbo M/F - 8.00-9.30; 9:30-11:00 & 11:00-1:00 (PST) that went away when the Xmas films arrived.

I don't recall Cagney, Bogart, Robinson or Raft making any Xmas films either. Like the Duke and Clint, these were action stars.

Can you picture any of these going around the neighborhood singing Xmas carols?

Take a close look at this photo. Look at the reflection of the film crew in the driver's side door.................people in shorts!
Recently, this past summer, another of those Hallmark movies was shot in my New England town..............only one problem, and shot that panned out had the green leaves of the oak and maple trees in the shot.

It sure is a nice stock truck. But I have a question.... And I know the philosophy "It's your truck, you can do to it what you want." But why use chrome parking light doors with a correct ivory painted grille? I say use them on a chromed grille. What do ya think?
