Question 1989 F150 XLT Lariat

My headlight/door warning chime has stopped working. I have looked for it under the dash. I found a white box attached with 2 screws and several wires going to it. I was wondering if this is it. I guess it needs to be replaced, but I have looked online, and cannot find one. It don't help any that I don't really know what they look like. Does anyone know the location, and where I could find one? I really need to get it fixed, I keep leaving the lights on.<br />TIA

This appears to be an 87 but may be the same as yours. Sandy

Thanks, I have found it. Trying to get it out now. The top screw is really hard to reach.

Should just slide out... the bracket doesn't need to be removed.

No bracket, it is a white plastic box, attached with 2 screws.

Must have changed for '92+, my XL had a white module that locked into a bracket with a nub on the top of it.

I replaced it with the chime module (black) out of an XLT, that slid onto the bracket with a slot on the side.
