Saw this 62 Falcon station wagon on craigslist today. One owner with documents and rust free. I thought some of you rust belt guys could appreciate this. You've probably never seen such a clean 55 year old undercarriage.

That car would sell in about 5 minutes here in the rustiest part of the rust belt.
5,000 bucks for a clean rust free classic wagon that runs and drives. Wow.
If that were local, I'd be all over it. Just to charge people $5 apiece to lean down and look underneath.

Cool car! Priced fairly, too. But we took a family vacation in a Comet wagon like that back in the '60s, and I can attest to the small 6 with 2-sp automatic being the most gutless POS ever made. In the hills in PA we could have gotten out and walked faster. But a 289 would drop right in along with a T5....
