Very nice indeed!....... glad to see another old truck saved!........ I actually looked at one like that for sale...it ran and drove....price was good...I immediately called my Chevy truck buddy ...he looked at it and bought it.....

My Dad had a 1948 3/4 ton pickup that same color, only his was the Deluxe model, or what ever chevy called them. So it was a 5 window cab, had a chrome hood ornament, chrome grille guard, and chrome grille.

There are a couple of 1/2 Chevy pickups here of that vintage with small block Ford V8s in them. Infuriates the Chevy guys at the local car shows that anyone would defile a Chevy with a Ford engine.

Funny how that works. I always thought a 67 Camaro with a 352 FE engine would be fun, just because...

I started painting on a Sunday. So I mixed john deere green and gloss black . 14 oz to 4 oz to get the color. I didn't want to wait for napa to open

It's a dually plus has a host. So it will get used.

Well you had me fooled. It looks like that green color a lot of Chevy trucks were painted.

Edit: I looked it up, Chevy called it Forester Green.
