ever since i got the truck i have been unable to shift into 4 low. it doesnt grind. it works fine in high. the shift lever is very simple and only goes in and out. does not have a nuetral either. no metal shavings and i have flushed and replaced the oil. it barely even leaks. the np205 as i understand has two locations to activate 4wd. one for actual 4wd and the other for low and high range. someone educate me if you would.

 

Do you have an auto trans? One or two controls for the TC? Is there a shift pattern on the TC shifter?

 

It is a granny low. One shift control and no pattern. 4lo straight back 2wd up one from there and 4 hi all the way up. But nothing I've tried has worked
