No diesels here in California junkyards :/ even if there is one it doesn't last a day. I did disconnect it but I reset the codes before restarting the truck again.

$66 - assuming the harness checks out ok (and you are absolutely sure the hose isn't plugged or leaking and the nipple on the intake manifold isn't plugged).

I listed my voltage findings in an above post, just this morning. Were you able to see it? I also blew air through the hose and it looks like it's been replaced recently because it's labeled as fuel line hose, no cracks, it's flexible. I also checked the nipple; it was not dirty but I slid a paper clip down it just in case and also blew air through it and I can hear the air flowing throughout the system.

I don't think I ever mentioned it but at no time does my truck ever smoke; cold hot full throttle idle startup. Never any white or black smoke. FWIW

New map sensor did not fix it... there was a difference in resistance from my old one to new one, old one was .68 new one was 1.70 but all the same issues occurred...

What should I move on to next?

So after I messed with the icp harness I noticed at idle it sounded a lot smoother, I'd rev it and I'd hear boost; more than I normally do. So I took it on the road and man it drove smoother than I've ever seen it. I got up to 75 going on a decline. After about 2-3 miles cruising it started acting up the way it always has, missing and surging. I pulled over, wiggled the connector and harness in that area and I was able to cruise at 40 on the way back up hill missing and bucking. On the way back I noticed the desired and actual from the icp at wot we're both fluctuating opposite of each other. Meaning when actual was at 1k desired was at 2k and vise versa. Could that just be because it's missing tho?

Also I noticed the internal plug inside the icp connector was loose, it was able to slide up and down inside the sensor!! Is that normal?

Did you replace either the sensor or pigtail already?

Neither, it's dry all around the sensor so I never suspected it being an issue. It looks like I may be replacing the sensor and pigtail because I'm seeing harnesses online and they look a lot better than mine. It's dark now, I'm going to inspect tomorrow! Hope this is the issue :/ I'm at my wits end with this thing.

LADIES AND GENTS! Announcement please!!!!

It is now drivable!!!! I have driven the truck 10+ miles at 80mph!!!!

Still feel it missing and a little surging at top end of gears but once it shifts it's fine till the next gear. If I give it wot I don't really feel any missing.

ISSUE NOW! ---
It's boosting! But I have -0 on the boost gauge! And I cannot clear a p0237 code. It immediately comes back. We're almost there people!!! I can feel it!

New pigtail for the ICP is in order. Dieseltech Ron covers that in his videos. 237 is boost low. Check your boots, and if you have the plastic cold side pipe, check it for cracks at the bellows. Is VGT responding?
