I'm going to begin towing heavier - Bumper pulling at 10,000 lbs. (boat + trailer) package.
I checked the hitch on the truck...sure enough, it say it's only rated 12,500 lbs for weight distributing, and 5,000 non-WD (with a 500 lb tongue weight).
(I had hear rumors that this is a common issue among all truck manufacturers)
I want to get something that will bolt on - I don't really want to drill.
Curt says this will work with no drilling:
https://www.curtmfg.com/part/15410
(street price ~$216)
Anyone have any other recommendations? I don't really want to order it and have it not fit.

I use a Torklift SuperHitch 20K, it is rated in excess of your boat weight and bolts on with no drilling. It costs more than the Curt but it is also much beefier.

Actually pulled it off solo yesterday afternoon during nap time (1.5 hour window) and I'm not the most mechanically inclined. That even included time to YouTube "how the heck do I get the spare down.?". Easy one person job if anyone is thinking about it
Believe it or not, the oem Ford bolts seemed more substantial than the new Curt bolts. But, the hitch itself the structure, the welds, seemed more substantial on the Curt.
