1” leveling kit buyers (BDS)

I have searched unsuccessfully for opinions and pictures of trucks with the 1” leveling kit from any manufacturer. In this case, I’m looking specifically at BDS with the Fox shocks. I’d like to keep the relatively stock look, but cut just a bit of rake down. My thought is; i reduce my chance of issues down the road if I stay on the conservative side. I will run 295’s at some point. Anyhow, all I can find is reviews on the 2”, if you went this route I’d love to know your thoughts or regrets. Thanks.

295 what? that could be any number of sizes. I'm on 295/70R18's. looks great stock. 1" it'd look great too. anything more they will look small. the 1" kit looks fine but kinda seems like after a while you'd think it looks stock again IMO.

I was looking at 296/65-20’s. I appreciate chiming in, I don’t think I’d mind the truck “looking stock” in the long run. I’m a pretty plain dude, would love to see some examples with only 1” of level. I suspect it would be closer in stance to a truck with the plow or camper package.

What is the 4 character alpha code for springs on the white data label on your driver’s door jamb? It’s in the lower right corner under the Spring heading.

I have those same Daystar 1” spacers sitting on my toolbox.
Were they simple to install and did you use stock length front shocks?
Did it throw the alignment off much?

Get some 6000lb front plow springs. Gives you almost an inch and it's a factory part. I have 7500lb springs in mine but they give more like 1.5".

I've been thinking of going this route myself, I like using factory parts when I can. What springs did you upgrade from? Did it change your ride much?

I've seen people selling the 6k springs from time to time on here. I believe the stealership sells them for something like $100 per spring and they can usually look them up for you. I'll probable end up going this route if I cant find a used pair. My 7500's are just a bit too tall for my liking as I netted about 1.5" but I have the much lighter gas engine.

As for the ride, it's stiffer but nothing outrageous in my opinion. I do like a more firm ride though, this is a 1 ton truck. Towing, it feels excellent. These trucks seem to be plagued with the dreaded death wobble and I feel that these stiffer springs help. I did add a pair of the 2* caster shims also.

I did the 1 1/2” blocks from amazon. Worked great with no issues. I also wanted some rake remaining.

HST,

I'm thinking of putting some 6000 or 7500lb springs in my 2019 4x4 XL CCSB 6.2 instead of a spacer leveling kit. I'm ok with a little rake.

When you say your 7500lb springs gave your 6.2 a little too much lift for your liking, do you mean it made it nose up? Or just too close to level for your liking?

I like the idea over factory part + some caster cams over the full blown 2.5" spacer leveling kit. I'm pretty sure my truck has 3" or so of rake, so the 7500lb springs would give me the most lift, but I wonder how more harsh the ride would be.

Does the plow kit only include springs (in terms of suspension parts?)
