Krown Rustproofing..Issues
Thought this may be helpful...
I contacted Two Krown applicators last week...
One was booked to December..so I spoke with the second..( round Trip 200 Miles)..
The conversation was interesting to say the least..
I said I really was more concerned with the undercarriage..as the truck was Aluminum ..
However ..He proceeded to inform me that I needed to be aware of door and tailgate issues.
They found when he applied the product to the door panels and tailgate.........
They flooded the applicator with water...
He said the doors and tailgates "held" water.
In addition, he believed the door panels were a design concern as they allowed water to enter... and not exit...and he believed that long term issues would arise...
He believed the door /seal design were the problems...And was expressing a professional opinion...
In addition...he does applications from surrounding eight states...
I asked why he is seeing trucks from as far away as Tennessee.
He said the owners were trying to protect their investment..... The trucks were getting so expensive. the owners were looking at keeping them for a long time
I will have to work around a large "fleet" application so November late...
