Generator Throwing Low Oil Pressure Error

I had my on-board generator (Onan Marquis Gold 5500 - gasoline) running today while I winterized the plumbing. After about 20 minutes it shut down on its own and posted trouble code #2, low oil pressure. The trailer was nose high and I'm hoping that's the problem. I checked the oil level and it was close to the full line but not at/over it. I cleaned the engine compartment this weekend so it's possible that the degreaser I used could have got into an electrical connector. If I have time this weekend I'll clean the connectors. Otherwise, it's already scheduled for major periodic maintenance, so I may just let them figure it out.

If it were to continue and the sensor was easily accessible, I would change it out. Just my thought.

I'll have to look it up on the parts diagram and see where it is. I wouldn't have the replacement part in hand before I deliver the trailer to the Cummins/Onan service center this weekend, so it may be a moot point.

my generators are very temperamental a about the oil level. I'd check with the unit leveled.

Cummins/Onan service says that the nose high orientation was the culprit. I don't normally run it like that. It was at the storage lot and it was nose high because that's where the coupler needed to be to clear the ball on my hitch when I dropped it off. Lesson learned. Keep it level.
