It has XLT trim sport custom. Is this truck special I have pictures
With a vinyl and cloth seat, it's a Ranger XLT, not a Sport Custom. These are two different trim lines. There's also the Custom, the cheapest available, then the Sport Custom, Ranger and Ranger XLT

Post a pic of the Warranty Plate, riveted to the left door face below the latch, or type all the codes from it.

Actually, ND, it could be a Ranger seat. When my dad ordered his F-100 Custom in December, 1971, the salesman said we could upgrade the seat one trim level to a Sport Custom seat. So that would mean that it could have been upgraded one trim level to a Ranger seat, not a XLT seat.

Big difference between extendable and extended.

There was an extended bumper, but I've only seen it on trucks that came with a slide in camper. It probably would have been available as part of the Camper Special package, not as part of the Sport Custom package. My history and knowledge of these trucks is nothing compared to these guys, so I could be wrong.

I know it's nit-picking, but those packages were available separately and not all camper specials had that bumper from what I understand.

Pics?
My 69 had an extendable/adjustable pipe-like mount for the rear bumper. I believe it was installed by an rv dealer originally.

Truck came with camper

This truck came with The camper.too bad it's gone it would make this truck worth something. Right know because of the cracked green dashpad that can't be replaced.and the green cracked steering wheel. That also can't be replaced. .and the jade green dye for the seat insert doesn't exist anymore.so it appears that this truck has no value. I was thinking of restoring it .but I'm not going g to spend thousands of dollars to find the green parts.

The only bumpers available were either the chrome/painted contour rear bumpers or step bumpers. There was no extendable bumper available from Ford.

If the bumper is extendable, it was probably sold/installed by an RV dealer.

Here's the pic of the factory Styleside rear step bumper and brackets...that does not extend.

Extended bumper

The bumper that came with this truck has bumper brackets that allowed the bumper to be moved back 12 inches.it the bumper looks like a deluxe ford chrome bumper not a poc from some rv dealer if this a poc bumper I will gladly remove it and cut it into little piecies .and not have a rear bumper.anyone who puts a rv bumper on a real ford needs their head examied.why put a junk bumper that is probably japcrap.and is unsafe.
