I've never wondered, not with the Ford approved cert on the label.

It's just Warren oil, it's a very common fleet 15w40 and sold by the truckload. There is lots of UOA's that reflect your findings.

Yup, I know this, but many don't. Either way, I was happy with these results.

Exactly. And it's still a CJ-4, which I hope doesn't change anytime soon.

Nice to know it's good, thanks.

Anyone have data showing how it compares to Rotella or any of the other common name brands?

Man that run had TONS of idle time, severe use towing all summer, not to mention the run to Illinois to pick up the Toyhauler in 100 degree temps. Great oil. I started thinking about it and just how much use this last run was put through. I am a believer.

I currently have this in the truck (I PM'd you about it) and have 2400 miles on the oil half towing. I zero complaints as well about this oil

Interesting the viscosity fell a bit out of spec on the low side. Makes it attractive to run it through the winter. Was there a test for shear? Plus hey, after 5k miles the oil has a right to be fatigued.

Fifty150 is gaining momentum as a positive member of FTE.
Funny. I was just telling somebody the other day that Wal*Mart oil would be just fine. No need to spend more on any "brand name". Just change your oil and filter as specified in your owners manual. Most of us are not driving a high performance car under race conditions, where we may want to consider a boutique race brand.

I agree, especially under the conditions this particular round was subjected to. There was no test for shear. I am not sure Blackstone offers it.
