I'm seating at a light then my truck starts making a noise like when you run out of gas and then just died. It will crank but not turn over and start. I have a half of tank of gas when it did it. So take it to Ford and they tell me it could be high fuel pressure pump (2400.00) but then came back and said it could be fuel cooler pump (1500.00). Seem like they don't know what it is. I'll be dam if i pay for a part and that doesn't fix the issue will my truck. Wanted to know what y'all think.

 

well there are test that they can do to determine what the problem is before throwing parts at it.

has a repair shop done these test or is the info you are providing just comments provided over the phone?

 

 

Those "crack" techs (actually crack heads) at your Ford dealership have no idea what they're doing -- your experience is becoming more and more common as Ford "dumbs down" its techs....................
