Can anyone in the Tulsa are recommend a good transmission shop? The C6 in my '69 Thunderbird, is leaving a small stream under the car, from the trans to the garage door. I've been told that it could be the torque converter, but I'm not sure. It takes almost a year before I see a loss of fluid on the dipstick.
Thanks.
No, talking with other Thunderbird owners, they recommended changing the o-ring for the dipstick tube. I changed it a couple months ago, and so far so good.
Got to take the car somewhere this spring and have my floorboard patched up so I can put it back together but she's all cleaned up nice, painted in there, trunk cleaned all soundproofed and seats and carpet good to go back in once the floor is fixed.
Oh yeah, man I spent hours and hours working on wiring up a modern LED sequential system and man what a difference.I never did take a video but hot dang isn't it awesome at night.Far above the old semi mechanical/elctro device.Lots of work but fun. Can't wait for body work and fresh paint then the car will really be something again.
