So you ordered on 10-1-18, and almost 4 months later, the dealer (and maybe FoMoCo) has nothing. I ordered my F350 on 11-29-18, and I pick it up from the dealer on Friday, a little under 2 months. 60-75 days seems to be about the average, and you’re at 120 days and Ford has no flipping idea if your truck even exists.
If I’m the District Manager, I’m giving you a inventory of every super duty in my region. Then you take your pick, for the best price I can do (A-Z, 5% under invoice, whatever). I know it probably won’t work out like that, but Ford needs to make this right. That’s where I start the negotiations.
Really not sure where to begin. I like the people at the dealership and I don't think it's their fault. I wouldn't know where to begin to take action. FoMoCo is a big giant. And, I've never really figured out how long is too long?

What do you guys think about getting trucks now when we know the 2020 is going to come out with new features and a new look. It has me thinking about holding off until the 2020 ordering opens up.
I think the 2018 F150 front end didnt do anything for me and I wasn’t a fan of the tailgate.
I doubt you’ll see much besides a new gasser option, this model has only been out 2 years. I really wouldnt want anything besides the bracket led headlight style coming on my Platinum.

Maybe the 10 speed and more power in the 20, this body style has been out 3 years? 17,18,19 in model years. Maybe some refinements in the infotainment around the camera stuff, seems like its right on the cusp of being a touch better. Ford is for sure holding out getting the information out. Wonder if they are allowing GM, and RAM to make the announcements and then decide how much they need to tweak the truck to stay in the hunt without over doing it.
