Im 75 days no VIN, so I found a truck in GA, and looking to buy it and drive it back to Seattle.
I just don’t understand how this is possible. Do you think that your truck is ordered, and lost in the system? It’s ordered, being built and your dealer is too clueless to know how to research it? Your truck never got ordered? It’s ordered, delivered, and was sold out from under you for a higher price? Have you involved the Ford District Sales Manager?
I would be pissed off! I ordered mine on 11-29-18, and it’s supposed to be in Phoenix (on rail) on 1-19-19. Who knows exactly when at the dealer, but it’s scheduled on 1-31. I feel sorry and frustrated for the folks on here that are getting jacked around.
Ordered mine on 1/7. Had the VIN a few days later. Going to Fords tracking site it shows an anticipated delivery of 2/19. Ordered from one of the larger S.E. U.S. dealers in Bartow Ford in Florida. I am in the "processing" stage and not yet in "production" but it's only been about 1 week.
Mine finally arrived at the dealer. The tracking site changed from the 21st to today (15th). I pick it up tomorrow. Ordered it November 15th, so the process took 2 months.
I have been leaning on these guys and yesterday my friend who is the lead mechanic had been in touch with the GM and apparently i have a new order # 70425108 not sure if this is an Auto-nation order number or what. Standing by to hear from the dealership or im headed to another one this weekend to order the exact same truck.
I’d lean on them and tell them to drop your priority level down into the single digits. They obviously screwed up.
What does that mean? Here is mine (off the tracking website) does it show anything obvious, or is it about right considering it was only ordered on the 7th.
Its not on there its on the first black and white vehicle confirmation form showing the price and options. Priority is 10-40 but they can go below 10 for special situations to speed it up.
My priority 10 is showing to take 54 Days at my dealer.
Joe, understand that your real order date is Jan 10th. That's the first scheduling day Ford conducted after the holiday shutdown. I dropped my order with my dealer on Dec 14, but the truck really wasn't on order with Ford until the 10th, which is when both of our clocks truly started ticking. FWIW.
However, you seem to be ahead of me in production as I still have no window sticker.
Good info, I have a delivery date of 2/19, but no window sticker or is it in production status yet. I can't wait, first time I have been "truckless" in 30 years. I sold 6.7 F250 to the very first buyer and much earlier than I thought. Miss the old gal (pic the day I sold it
below) but wanted a change after 7 years.

Same here, a guy I know has been wanting my ol'03 Cummins ram for a while, told him it was for sale and it has been gone since beginning of Jan. 2 months is a long time to be without a truck
