I was told today the plant is now closed until the end of the year and I wont see a VIN until sometime in January. The dealer I ordered from must be the smallest in the country no one else seems to have such a show process.
Must have just beat the Holiday shut down; was checking daily and it now shows awaiting shipment:
Mine went from "Awaiting Shipment" to "In Transit" in one day (20 Dec to 21 Dec). However, the delivery date on my truck was pushed out a week, to 13 January. I have to wonder if the transit folk are also on vacation until the new year. That would explain a 22 day shipping window...
Love the tracking website and its accuracy.
As of Dec 22 it says my truck is waiting for transportation and that it should take 16 days to reach my dealer. But the best part is it is expected at my dealers by Dec 30th. My math says Jan 7th is 16 days if shipping started today. Thats a long journey to travel 200 miles.
I came to the conclusion weeks ago the web site is a very rough estimate and should be viewed with skepticism.

Im prob already behind the 8 ball as the salesman told me their typical order day is Tuesday, which is Christmas. Next Tues is New Years, and the plant is closed or closing for the Holidays also. Lol!

I agree. Mine still says it will be delivered tomorrow but it's never went to "In Transit". Been awaiting shipment since 12/12. I'm also inside 200 miles from the factory

How can a person access PALSAPP site? It asked me to log in with a user name and password.
No need to log in. Click the magnifying glass for the search box and insert your VIN. Mine showed pending until the day they delivered it when it changed to "delivered".

Congratulations to you on getting your truck on Christmas day. I know that made your day. I've ordered my truck on 10/25 and I got a vin on 11/15, built on 12/11 and now it will be 2 weeks tomorrow that it's been sitting at the plant and not shipped. I'm going to get ahold of my dealer tomorrow. I'm not happy about it and I'm going to tell them how I feel. If its going to take another 2-3 weeks, I'm considering telling them to keep it. Theres another one that is a diesel that is equipped exactly the way I want it at another dealer. What do you guys think??
