Really looks good Sous. Now come do mine. Had a bad week myself. Blow high pressure line on power steering, then had Safelite come out and they found a small hole under the sealant for the window. They would not put a window back in. I mean small hole and rust the size of a dime. At least my insurance company says they will cover it. It was there glass guys and I have zero deductible.

I did, and at 65 degrees ambient temperature I was surprised at how long the light stayed on. I did several starts while watching the light and 12v meter.

Some after light was out, some while light was on still. All times the truck started normally and within 1-1.5 seconds of starting to crank.

Frankly, I probably wouldn't have installed the LED at all if the previous owner had not put a small hole in the dash bezel for an alarm light. I removed the alarm shortly after buying the truck and used that hole for the GPR LED.

Useful? I think so. Especially for the few dollars it cost in materials.

Kind of like the FP gauge. Good to have, but not essential.

Thanks for the compliment on the truck. Spent most of today polishing and waxing the Subaru after the 6,000 mile sprint out west it provided us recently.

I had full intentions of doing a video and of how to replace the E-brake shoes, springs and components. Although, my mother in law became very ill and was in ICU for 5 days after being transported via lifeflight helicopter in ID. We had to pack our **** on a moments notice and get to the frozen north of ID as soon as we could. We drove 2600 miles in 40 hours through blizzards, rain, hail and ridiculous wind.

She is doing much better now, and we have returned home after being gone nearly 45 days.

I do still plan to get a video done of the E-brake, but now we have camping lined up for each month up to September. I will try to get it done between trips, but you never can tell what life will bring...

Enjoy each day as if it were your last...

Well, I finally got around to putting in the new Energy Suspension bushings for the front sway bar. Did that before, during and after an oil change. Ended up replacing the drop links while I had it apart. Much more snug fit now.
Next day I hauled a 20k load of trailer/hay and could feel the difference.

Next up is some warmer weather and time to drop the tank for the Hutch/Harpoon mods.

I put the running boards back on. Had them off for a few years thinking the extra effort to climb up into the cab (4X4 no lift) will keep me young. Didn't work!

New Dorsey stage 2 trans, rebuilt driveshaft and a new head unit. It’s like driving a new truck now! After installing the trans, I had a vibration at 50-55. Turns out the splines were shot.

Very nice work "The Brad"! I had the splines replaced on my D/S a few years ago and it made a big improvement for me as well. I would recommend that route vs. stuffing it with marine grease.

Where did you get the back up camera in the tailgate?

Amazon: Master Tailgaters Replacement for Ford 1997-2007 F150 F250 F350 F450 F550 Black Tailgate Backup Reverse Handle with Camera
Amazon Amazon

There were a lot of reviews about fitment problems, but my stock handle wasn’t sitting flush after years of tailgate abuse. A few wraps with a hammer against the mounting plate and the new one went in flush. It came with plenty of wiring to reach the head unit. The price is pretty steep for what it is, but I didn’t like the license plate view for backing up to a trailer.

Edit: As an audiophile, I’m really liking all of the features of this Pioneer 4400.
