Any suggestions on a local, non-dealership, shop in the greater SLC area that could help me with these trouble codes on my Excursion:
P1000; OBD system hasn't completed a full diagnostic since the battery was disconnected last week.
P0305-C; Confirmed missfire of cylinder 5
P0316; Missfire on startup, within first 1000 revolutions.
P1832; Transfer case 4wd solenoid circuit failure
B1201; fuel sender open circuit or short circuit to positive

P1000 should clear after a short drive and the PCM runs a full DX.
P0305 Plug, wire, coil or possible injector failure. If it is Coil on Plug swap it to another location and see in the misfire moves. Yes-replace coil, No-replace plug.
P0316 fix the 305 code first.
P1832 Check the wiring to the transfer case motor and possible sensor/switch on the transfer case. Motor engages the transfer case and a second switch/sensor signals that it has engaged. Some have a vacuum solenoid on the fender that receives this signal and engages the hubs.
The B(body)1201 indicates a failed fuel sending unit or wiring issue.
These are all general information.

As for the rest of the codes, I realize some of them are general information, but they all add together to give an idea of what is happeneing.
B1201 indicating a short makes sense, the fuel gauge started going wonky yesterday.

Thanks folks! I think we'll be leaving it stock, kinda nice that you can order them with the bugshield and mudflaps and stuff already on it. Just plan to get some pinstripes, nothing crazy, just some tastefully placed old school scrolls and lines. We found out the camp trailer we bought last year is a little too much for my '77 to pull...can't keep the 460 cool, and I really liked Dad's 2017, so we decided to bite the bullet and get this. Never had a car payment before, I usually pay cash for old junk, haha. Sorry, I know I'm usually pretty quiet on here, usually working too much, but I couldn't resist showing this truck, we're pretty excited about it.
