My work in progress. Building a 1200sqft shop in my back yard. This was taken a couple of weeks ago. We've been getting a bunch of rain so its likely that they won't pour the mud for a while. This has been a long time coming, jumping through hoop after hoop for the city. I can't believe there are new buildings being built today with all the BS fire codes.

Inside

Just about done with my shop. Its been over a yr since we started the project. Lots has happened in the last two months. The workers finished the structure. Still need electric. Im kinda thinking the company didnt thing they were on the hook for electrical but I wouldn't pay them until the finished the project written in the contract. We ll see how long it takes them to set it up.

Here's mine. When the property was purchased it was a 2-car garage w/o electrical service!

Looks good. If you can, get some sealer on it before moving anything in. That's what I was told by a couple of concrete pros.

Did the epoxy coating today with the wife and kid. Turned out really well. Can't walk on it until tomorrow, and can't drive on it for a few days. Now we can install my 2 post lift next week and I might have a line on some used cabinets.

Next is wiring.... Then spray foam insulation. I'm planning on installing the lift and hopefully some cabinets next weekend, but may go camping instead.

you need priorities
insulation, cabinets, and lift are nice to have, but memories are much more valuable.
