Evening folks. Finally home after about 13 hours on the road today. While everything fit up nice - we only set 4 boxes of a 680 ft run when we should be getting 8+ a day. It was a bit of a ***** show.
Off of 50, just south of National Hill and and Bridgeville, kinda back in the woods. Cecil-Reissing Road...
Ours was a case of other people not doing what they should have done up front. We spent 4 hours just waiting for the rigging to show up for the crane.

Don't you just love when that happens?? It was a very common when I was out doing filed work on construction jobs. You need to be there early just to wait around because they are not ready for you to do the work they asked for. Or you get on site planning that you will be doing this but the site supervisor asks you to do something else that you do not have the calculations done so you end up doing them in the field.

Good Thirsty Thursday morning PA, Pat, Craig and all who stop by! Looks like rain and storms may pass across WV, PA, MD later today. I hope is fizzles out and everyone continues to have a beautiful day.

Morning folks, happy Thursday. In the office today, they canceled setting boxes due to incoming rain...which is good because that site is a muddy mess as it is.

Good morning, Gang!
Bill, you were 5 minutes from my house & 10 minutes from my work! That turnpike project has been an adventure just to watch! Record rains that occur right in the middle of the largest earth-moving project to ever happen in the township is a sure recipe for disaster!

Morning Pat, Jason, Ken...
Interesting that I was so near to your location, Jason. It was chaos all day yesterday...and making things worse was this dumb cold I've had for a day or two...
