I went to batteries because low battery voltage seems to cause strange issues with vehicles today plus you're not fully stock programming. Although I guess you would notice a weaker start if that were true. How long has the tuner programming been uploaded to the ECM?
Bummer man, you think it might be a security module not allowing a start? I am curious now...
I'm not sure. The first time it happened, I had started it with remote start, then it wouldn't RE-start. But I pretty much tried every which way of starting it after that. I even tried the age-old trick of tapping on the starter with a hammer haha.
The shop I use is great, they'll get to the bottom of it. Former Ford tech, went on his own and is one of the most honest around, they won't BS me.

Yesterday I put the charger on the batteries for a couple hours, just to rule that out. They are only a year old, and haven't shown any signs of being weak yet.
I've been running the tunes approximately 6 months now, and there's been no issues up to this point. This no start stuff just appeared out of the blue. I'm hoping for a simple fix!
Had the same issue on my 2015. It was intermittent and would go away for several days. The dealer was able to reproduce the problem and it turned out to be relay # 101 (Starter).

Thanks for the heads up. I'll let my guy know tomorrow, they were supposed to get on mine tomorrow afternoon, or Thursday morning.
Well it was a simple fix. There is a cable on the passenger side battery, that is a test pin point for the starter, it was pretty corroded. There was power to it on the battery side, and the corrosion kept it from getting through to the starter. One hour labor is all it cost me....gotta love it!
Thanks again for all of your input
Well it turns out, the fix, was NOT a fix. This has now happened several times. Truck never has any codes, and will just randomly not crank. My mechanic has spent hours, troubleshooting it, and the biggest problem is, it is intermitten. It WON'T mess up, when I have it at the shop! They had my truck over a week, and no matter what, could not get it to do the NO start. It just seems to randomly do it to me. Today it happened again, in front of Subway at lunch. I left it for an hour, and had arranged for a friend to help me tow it to the shop, I get to the truck, and it started right up........SO frustrating. This is definitely electrical, but they can't find the problem! I drove it home this time, I need it to actually be in the NO crank mode before I waste their time again!
Have you checked the wires that seem to go by the oil pan on passenger side. I have heard that they are prone to corrosion and there isn't much slack in them.
