I bought a 2002 e250 at Christmas 2005 for $4250 as it had 105k and was a courier van. This was an estate sale and the van was taken well care of. I used it for my electrical contracting business since then at got to 170k now. I had the geniuses drive low on fuel and suck up gunk gain to make me install a third fuel pump. I bought an aftermarket tank and installed it with new straps.
The mechanic friend gets power but the truck won't start he found some type of corrosion filled harness around the driver's door that runs to the back of the truck. Anyone know about this? Truck is sitting outside on the street as I am overflowing with work to do in contracting. Any ideas?
So he is getting power to the fuel pump? Can he hear it running? Has he put a pressure gauge on the fuel rail to check pressure? Has he checked to see if its getting spark? Corrosion usually takes metal. Is this at a connector?
He reads power but it no work. Apparently this is some type of connective harness junction point. Very corroded and possibly does everything to the rear of the truck.
