Ex with a Super Duty life?

Newbie here, looking to up my EX. 2002 v10 It’s stock height on 33x12.5 with 3:73. Wanting to go up to 37’s and I’ve been looking at the rough country super duty 8” lift. I’ve been told plenty that everything matches up, however, I just discovered that the rear shocks don’t match up at all. Has anyone used a super duty lift and if so, how did you get around that issue?

What do you mean they don't match up? Also, I hope you're planning on regearing for those 37s. The V10 doesn't even like 33s, I'd hate to see it on 3.73s with 37s.

I`de be more concerned about 3.73`s and 37`s rather than the shocks! However the shocks should match up. how do you know they wont fit if you haven't bought it yet?

The shocks don't match because the Excursion uses a bar pin top mount. Otherwise, the shocks would work.

And you can buy (or make, like I did) the bar mounts for the tops of the truck shocks, assuming that's what our shy new friend is talking about.
But I wouldn't do any of it unless a regear to 5.13s was also in the plans with those 37"s

My question is, why are you wanting to buy a SuperDuty lift made for trucks? Why don't you just purchase a lift made for Excursions?
