I didn't go diesel mainly because of budget. Will be using to pull a 10k-11k RV TT mostly, maybe trips to Lowes/ etc. I'm not in to chrome.

Good call on the carpet delete.

How about Cab / Clearance lights (wouldn't want people to mistake your truck for an F-150 would you?) and "Medium Duty Battery" (dual batteries) since you're going for the extra heavy duty alternator. Tailgate step? LED bed lighting? Ultimate tow / 360 camera system?

^ all things I added to my "loaded XL" ...

You can get the same truck as an XL with STX package and you will get an extra 2k off right now. You can get almost every option in it except backup sensors in the bumper. Give it a try.

XL can't get fog lights, backups sensors, power extend tow mirrors...

Take off bumpers with fogs can be had all day long for $300 though (at least around Houston)

Sounds like my rig more or less. I did the XXHD alt and not the dual batts (no real need). I got MSOF, rear defrost, and remote start. Not sure where you are but I got all the GVWR I could and the long box too. Love it and wouldn't change a thing.

If itís in your budget, and because you are towing, I would recommend the Ultimate Trailer Tow Camera system. It makes navigating that TT much easier. I would also recommend the trailer backup camera if you donít have an aftermarket one in mind.

We think alike, that looks like a great truck. I really, really like having an 8' box. YMMV.

The camper package get you a rear sway bar ($160).
LED box lighting is pretty handy ($60).
Rear window - fixed glass ($60) gets you a defroster. I wish I'd selected this instead of the sliding rear window, leaves a lot more room for adding a subwoofer behind the rear seat.
The rear step is pricey, but these trucks are really tall. Get it if you leave the tailgate on. Don't get it if you remove the tailgate like I do.
Speaking of tall, I don't see running boards in your list. I got the platform running boards, not a chrome fan myself
I opted for the front and rear wheel well liners. I think it looks nice and makes the truck a little quieter.
The invertor is nice to have ($175), I've used mine a few times

When I was shopping, the only thing I didn't like about this approach is that you lose the storage under the rear seat and I really like having that storage space...

I bought almost the same truck, a few things I got were:
led bed lighting
Rear step
Remote start installed myself for 100 bucks, factory module and forescan.
Rear defrost
Heated seats (pretty nice on cold mornings)
Sync 3 with the larger screen.

A few things I wish I had got:
5th wheel / gooseneck prep (only about 150 bucks vs 500 for parts later)
Skid plates

Other notes:

If you join the expermental aircraft association you can immediately print a 750 dollar discount code to use on your truck, for the cost of $35.

I asked a few of my friends who are electricians and they said that there are commercial fees in some states that you can avoid if your vehicle is less than 10k lbs - slapping a sticker on the door that limits you to 10k allows you to avoid those fees but if you go over the 10k and get caught, weighed, in a wreck, etc., you can get some serious fines. Also some states have a tiered weight registration fee system so if your vehicle is rated for over 10k GVRW you are in a seperate bracket... I think TX is in that category.
Long story short - it's different from state to state.

Very similar to the XLT I ordered except mine is a long box. Pulling that trailer you’re probably going to be getting mpg between 8 and 9. The long box will get you the 48 gallon tank which is pretty nice on long trailer hauls.

How about running boards? I went with XLT premium, because the mirrors, sync3, running bds etc..

It looks like the 48g fuel tank comes standard on the F350 Crew Cab 6.2 , correct?? Diesel must to have LB ? I wasnt sure.

The 2018 specs were the same back when I was shopping and I initially thought the same as you but after digging a little, it was a typo. If I were a betting man, I’d say it’s a typo again in 2019!

I have a 17 crew cab, short bed 6.2l and it came with the 35 gallon tank, which actually takes 30 gallons at 0 miles to empty.

Also I forgot earlier, if you get the running boards get the extended length ones, they would make getting things from the bed much easier. if you end up not liking them we may be able to trade my non extended ones for yours
