Test fit some 35s but get a little rub on compression while turning

I have new x codes up front and found a nice set of new 35" Toyos with 16" wheels that I traded an AR15 pistol I built for. Unfortunately I'm getting a little rub at full turn while the susp is compressed say going into a steep driveway. Any cheap mods to get just alittle more clearance? I was thinking about adding a leaf from my old front spring pack. I don't want to do any trimming really. I know there are those "mini packs" but that's going to be more lift than I think I need or want.

In the world of KTM motorcycles, any interference-fit issue is referred to as "self adjusting".

I had minor rub on my 37x13.5x18's on my '99 with the 6" lift at full lock, so I also experienced it at suspension compression during turns too. If you choose to live with it, you'll learn to drive in a manner to minimize any rubbing. At least I did.

YMMV though.

I get a little rub on my inner fender liner with my 34s, so far i've just let it rub. When I switch back to stock wheels and tires for winter I'll pull the fender liner back with some zip ties.

If its a minor rub on the inner fender you drill a small hole in it and tie wrap it back.

Yep I had to do a little cutting on my inner fenders for my 35”s. You can also get some extended shackles for the rear of the front springs to help lift the front a bit.

I used a heat gun and a 2x4 on the lower fender liners to gain more clearance.

good ideas, thanks guys! I plan on doing some mild off roading with it, so I'll have to make sure whatever I do works even at full compression and lock.

I have ATS X codes on my 6.0 and 305/70R18’s which are a little bigger than 35x12.50’s. I put 2” drop shackles and hangers on the front to give it more lift. I tried just X codes but had rubbing on leaf springs and fenders even with pulling the liner back so I installed the shackles and hangers and no more rubbing anywhere no matter what.

My tires rubbed the fender cladding the most right where the corner of the tread is so steering stops would do nothing. The only thing to make them clear was more lift or chopping my fender up...I’d rather do 2” more lift for a couple hundred bucks.

Upon inspection, that's what mine is doing too. I"m going to add a little lift to the front but then that leaves me with having to do something in the rear as well and I hate to mess with that since I finally got it all set with my airbags and custom spacers for them.
