1967 Inner fenders on a 66??
Numberdummy, or anyone else with knowledge of solutions for rusty inner fenders for a 1966 F100. I spoke to a guy in Colorado Springs who claims I could modify a set of 1967 inner fenders and make them work. I am about to start the front clip project on my truck. Everything needs replacing except the upper and lower valances, and some of the bracing. Everything else needs replaced. I have the fenders, have ordered the Radiator support for a 64, (I know I have to modify it) and a grill. I need to replace the inner fenders, or get a punch of steel welded on to them to make the section where the fender bolts sustainable. Looking for solutions.

I heard a rumor that the inner fenders from a dentside 73-79 are galvanized and I cannot remember if the rad support is too. If you use 73-79 rad support it needs to be cut down in height to clear the hood. I know you are asking about 67-72 but if you are going to modify anyway then maybe you would consider the galvanized stuff.
