Need someone in AZ to look over an 1959 F350

It's an Ebay purchase in Lake Havasu City, AZ. I'm a virgin classic truck buyer and have never purchased a vehicle out-of-state or without looking at it first. I would pay you for your time as I'm extremely nervous about getting scammed. I work in Emergency Management in North Carolina so getting time off to evaluate and pick up this truck is not in the realm of happening right now. (Officially on my 3rd week of Hurricane Florence activation.)

The seller says the truck is operational and rust-free (although it has spent time in Utah, Wisconsin, and South Dakota). I just want confirmation that it is real, operational, and that it isn't put together with baling wire and putty.

Thanks.

Hey,

I'm pressed for time at the moment and I know all to well on E-Bay purchases
just how important getting your ducks in a row is

Might there be a chance that you could reach out to the Lake Havasu EM Team
LHC is not that big of a city and I'm sure someone would know someone and you might
even run into someone who actually knows the seller.

Keep us posted & Good Luck !

So I've got an idea. I came across this garage -- Services Robinson Automotive -- in LHC that does pre-purchase inspections. I'm thinking of asking the seller if he'll take the truck to the garage to get a "pre-transport" inspection done... which I will pay for.

I have to use a soft touch here as I got a really good deal on the truck. The seller's first comment to me was how surprised he was that it sold for so little. (I was the only bidder and I offered the minimum bid -- figuring what-the-heck... let's see what happens.) If he's legit I don't want the guy to get fed up and cancel the purchase. I'll keep you updated on the ramifications of my pre-transport inspection request.

Keeping fingers crossed.

Seller sold for so little ? He accepted your offer/bid and placed the ad...don't get wrapped up
in his emotions ! It's strictly business.

He should feel fortunate that he has a serious buyer, no offense however a '59 F-350 does
not have the extensive following like the '67-'72 Bumpsides as they are two very different animals.
