Manual release for electronic tail gate?
Tail gate will not open....have the electronic actuated release. Plan on taking it in as it’s leas than a month old. I noticed there is a hole on the inside of the tail gate up near where the button would be on the outside. Could this be a manual release fior the tail gate?

When my actuator stopped working I too thought the hole was a manual release- it’s not. You’ll have to take the 8 torx head screws out to remove the cover on the inside of the tailgate. Then pop the actuating rods with your hands. Dealer ended up replacing the actuator under warranty.
