Windshield Trim Options

I've been looking into my options for replacement windshield trim pieces and bronco graveyard has this - 1980-1997 Ford Bronco and F-Series Chrome Reveal Molding (https://shop.broncograveyard.com/198...uctinfo/35193/) Manufacturer Part Number D7TZ-1003148-A. Now when you click on that number it brings you to - 1976-1979 Ford Bronco and F-Series Truck Windshield Chrome Trim Set Beads and Corners (https://shop.broncograveyard.com/sea...A&pagenumber=1) So obviously if you are able to install the reveal molding on a 80-86 you'd need that kit with the beads and corners but I've searched through the forums and cannot find any posts about this type of molding in lieu of the oem chrome trim.
Has anyone done this with their truck? Will it work or is this bronco graveyard misinformation?

I'm not looking forward to finding a used trim piece for my damaged one and stripping/polishing so this this would be a viable option especially considering the cost,

These applications are BS!

This is: 1977 F100/350 from serial number O80,001 & 1978/79 F100/350 & Bronco. It's a one piece flexible plastic chrome windshield reveal moulding.

Upper pic: Here are the correct mouldings = 1980/86 F100/350 & Bronco:

These are obsolete, but may be available NOS

If you are looking for the windshield rim hit up Dennis Carpenter he recently started selling repops of the windshield trim its not cheap its like $500 for the set but its better than nothing. Going to buy a set for mine as LMC stopped carrying it when I was going to buy the set when I was ready last time for it.

I know it's out there, I was just hoping that I didn't have to go digging into my pocket so much for this trim lol.

Give it some time. The 82 style F150 emblem I was looking for LMC didn't carry it and Dennis Carpenter came out with it was $40 per emblem when they first came out. Now they are $25 per emblem. Same with the windshield trim since LMC stopped carrying it like 4 years ago I bet Dennis Carpenter`s $500 price tag will drop down to $250 I bet in a year or so.
