Fattening! Okay, okay...pizza. Alright, how about mexican. No matter where you are in the world you can find a decent mexican restaurant and a Corona (even in Bahrain).

Would you rather be rich or famous?

 

Rich(and Unfamous). And it's not true, there are places without decent mexican food.

Halogen, HID, or LED?

 

A. HID if from factory.
LED if done right as a mod or from factory in more recent times.
Halogen because it is easy and the best bang for the buck in our trucks.

Q. What is the best (model if possible) brand and type of welder for a beginner? I am talking, seen welders before, seen them used while watching, but never used one. Looking for light duty work like 1/4" steel or less bonding work. Hobby welder that is interested in learning I guess you could say...

 

For a true newbie best to start with Oxy-Acetylene to learn about the puddle and how to control it. Welding is all about the puddle, not just squirting wire onto a piece of steel. After you master the puddle go to a 240 machine, stick or MIG, Red or Blue (Lincoln or Miller), and keep your OA rig for cutting and brazing.

What's it like at the Salton Sea?

 

Salty!..no shade to camp, talapia fishing good...but riding at SR22(start of Ocotillo)

Sand Dunes riding or Desert riding?

 

Don't forget the smell!

Desert. More of nature to see and appreciate.


Boondocking or full hookups?

 

Desert lots more terrain than sand dunes.
