Well, if you like and enjoy the sound of some Japanese cars with an aftermarket dual exhaust system, you`ll also enjoy the sound of an aftermarket dual exhaust system on your 3.5 TT F150 because it`ll sound similar.
Have a great weekend.

Think ---- Honda + huge muffler + huge tip

Totally agree, these engines just do not have the right configuration to sound good,

I think aftermarket exhaust for F-150 EcoBoost trucks should be against the law. Keep the exhaust quiet and enjoy those turbo sounds.

While it will never sound as good as a V8 with a Borla on it, it can be made to not sound "too" bad. The Borla Touring isn't bad at all, And I'm running the SType Borla. Starts sounding ricey at the higher rpm.
The Touring is the quieter of the two. Do a google for Borla, and listen to the sound clips, although not exactly true to life, it'll give you an idea.
Haven't had anyone laugh yet when all they all they saw was my tailgate walking away.

I also recommend checking YouTube. There are a couple of companies that specialize in aftermarket parts that have a lot of vids with different exhausts.

But I have to agree with the others. Just listening to the sound coming out of a current gen Raptor tells me these motors are not right for aftermarket exhausts. If Ford cannot make it sound good, I highly doubt any aftermarket shop can.

I runs Corsa on my 2018 5.0L. The same exact kit fits the 3.5L. My intent is to move it to the next truck with a 3.5L. It sounds pretty good, but it's the diesel-like turbo at low RPM's, because at higher RPM's and under hard acceleration, it'll sound like a stupid pregnant roller skate. Like said above... watch the Tube first.

I feel like my 2018 sounds more throaty when I romp on it (on ramps) than my 13 did. Did they change something in the stock exhausts?

You have the 2nd gen EB. If I remember correctly, it’s a clean sheet design and didn’t carry over any parts from the motor you had in your ‘13. That alone will give you a completely different sound. But my guess is that “throaty sound” is the fake V8 sound that Ford now pipes into the cab on the higher trim levels. You didn’t have that feature on your ‘13.

I was wondering if they were employing that trickery..... I had a BMW that they did the same with.

So not quite the same thing, but I noticed on youtube videos that '11-14 5.0 trucks vs '15+ 5.0 trucks (both with the same muffler)- the '11-14's are quieter. I'm wondering if they changed something with the cats?

I like my Raptor exhaust, down pipes back, with Corsa resonator delete x-pipe on my '16 XLT 3.5 eco. Sure, it doesn't sound like a v8, but I like the sound and there's no drone.

Great point on no drone. The Corsa is great for quiet highway driving, absolutely no drone, etc. my 5.0L sounds like a GT350R on start up and when getting on it.

And shutting that silliness off was one of the first things I did with Forscan.

LOL me too. I think it was the primary reason I took the risk messing with Forscan. Now I can actually hear the beautiful turbo wail....well, with the windows down.
