Injector Cleaner/Cetane Booster
I have used it (diesel Kleen grey bottle) many times. I put it in everytime I fill up. I only have the 29 gallon tank so I only use half the bottle each time. I began using it several months ago and immediately noticed a 1-2 mpg increase and better response. I don't think anything was used prior to me purchasing the vehicle (got with 51,000 miles on it). So I think it has helped. The grey bottle doesn't help with fuel gelling, but in W. Texas...that's not much of a problem. many on this site use it or Stanadyne. I tried both and didn't notice any difference in the two...except that Stanadyne was harder to get ahold of in my area and about twice as much. I like that I can get Diesel Kleen at Wal-mart for $3/bottle (32oz). I couldn't see any potential problems other than when I changed my fuel filter and didn't use the tubing to keep it from spilling everywhere --- it made the driveway pretty slick...almost busted my rear several times!!

I'm using Diesel Kleen and I have noticed an increase in performace, excelleration, better mileage and a quieter ride. I've also tried the Diesel supplement, manufactured by the same company and a little cheaper, and I didn't get the same results. Stay with Diesel Kleen! I've had problems locating it in the local auto parts stores and found it in Walmart, of all places.

I purchased my 2001 Excursion PSD used with 34K miles on it. I just started using Diesel Kleen (White bottle) about a month ago and notice a 1-2 miles per gallon increase in mileage and alot better throttle response.
Walmart carries both kinds of Diesel Kleen, a grey and a white bottle. The grey bottle has a higher Cetane boost, up to 6 numbers. The white bottle only boost Cetane by 4 numbers but has a anti-gelling agent for cold weather use.
I've had good results so far so I'll keep using it.

For the two years I've owned my X, I've never run any type of additive through the tank. My mileage started to drop so I decided to try a fuel additive. I ran some Diesel Kleen through my tank and it made all the difference. The mileage and throttle response have greatly improved. I haven't tried it on a full tank, but I bet I'll be amazed. If you live down south, stick with Diesel Kleen, if you live up north try some Stanadyne if you can find it. Either way, it will save you alot money on Diesel in the long run.

It will stink up the interior if even the smallest drop spills, I know first hand.

The Wal-Mart in my area stocks only the Shell Rotella DFA All Season Formula. Would this be similiar to the Diesel Keen (white bottle)? Can anybody give me some more ideas who might be selling the Diesel Kleen product in Arizona? At what outside temperature should I start to be concerned about fuel gelling? We have very mild winters in Southern AZ, but I do plan on traveling to colder climates this winter.
