Cold Start Problem '03 250
In response to the numerous threads regarding intermittant cold start issues......
basically, the truck runs like
, or acts like it is running on 1.5 out of 8 cylinders on cold start up, especially in very humid weather (in my case).
Previous posts have flagged IAC valves and coil packs as well as O2 sensors as the culprit.
In my case:
Dealer informed me today that they have ordered O2 sensors (overnight delivery). Claimed the compooter threw that code.
I guess an O2 sensor isn't something a large dealer keeps in stock, OR they are running through them so fast the can't KEEP them in stockl
Anyhow, maybe this will help others in fixing this issue.
