What size F250 wheels 30” will fit 2005 Excursion 4x4

we have a deep blue 2005 Excursion Eddie Bauer 4x4 6.0 already had bullet proofed and now want to do some other mods.

have 42k Origional miles as of this week, bought last year with 12k miles! With that being said wanted to know the newest year of OEM Ford Rims off an F250 20” is what want to put on..know will need Fred’s 2” spacers. Currently have the Origional 16”. Hope that was enough info.

Need new tires ASAP so want to know the newest year that will fit...
we are up in Greenville sc area and have short window. Appreciate any insight and answers.

thanks

Welcome to the FTE!
I would go with 18" max wheel/rim size. That will give you the ability to run E range tires with ~6" wall for 30" tires. Make sure to get wheels with the 8x170 bolt pattern. There are cheaper alternatives(~$200) to Fred's spacers(~$750), but those are the best that you can get. I have seen pictures of excursions with 22 and 24" wheels, with a very small side wall. These look ugly to me and I am sure make for a terrible ride.

Welcome to the EX forum!

I am assuming your thread title includes a typo of "30" " where you really meant 20" in wheel size.
If so, any OEM SuperDuty 20" wheel will fit your EX with the correct 2" spacers (I agree that Fred's are very good, but pricey). Prior to '05 when the SD was updated to front coils for all models and the wheels changed back spacing the largest plus sized (over 16") were the '04 OEM 18"s from the King Ranch, Lariat, Harley Davidson and SVT styles. So any OEM 20" will be the same backspacing and will fit with those 2" spacers.

That sounds like a very nice wagon you have there, let's see some pictures!

Nice EX. I love that color combo. There's usually a bunch of these wheels on your local Craigslist.

Very nice, and my favorite color combo also! And yes to Craigslist, I have found a few sets of nice OEM wheels there locally for decent money.

I was going to go with factory wheels and spacers then I found these, no spacers needed about 180.00 per wheel 20 x 9

I'm running OE '17 F-250 wheels and 275/65-20 tires. You'll have to trim off the bottom corner of the front bumper cover, and they'll rub if you have OE mud flaps, but I trimmed my flaps and it's OK.
