I'm in Aynor and picked up all yard stuff that can blow around. Boarded up two windows on the side of the house that faces the trees. Generator all checked out, extra gas, extra propane, water, chainsaw, let's do this.
Tried to get through Aynor yesterday, but apparently 501 was challenged by rising water near Sparky's. I gave up after going about a mile in 45 minutes. I'll try again on Wednesday, but might take an alternate route. Hope you came through OK Kevin.
I'm still here. I've been very busy. Getting around Aynor and Conway has been a task. Roads open then close, the ones everyone has been using are now flooding. It will probably wind up being an island here for the weekend.

A friend from Columbia is at MB State Park for the weekend. He described Conway as "constipated." He ended up going through Georgetown to get to MB. Hope when the waters recede you find it has just been a nuisance with no damage. Also hope your beer supply is stocked for the weekend as an island!!
