I just got my VIN for the 56 F100 and can decode most of it, just wondering about a couple of digits. Haven't been able to find a decoder that decodes the full number.

Is it correct that the VIN plate is supposed to be on the inside of the glove box or is it supposed to be on the driver's front pillar?
Looks like you must have a very late production 1956 as its in the 1957 VIN format.
