Canadian VIN decode
I just got my VIN for the 56 F100 and can decode most of it, just wondering about a couple of digits. Haven't been able to find a decoder that decodes the full number.
It is 4831010TK-18833 18 28 3-STD 3.73
4-Model Series
83-Pickup and Express
10-??
10-??F100 body style
T-Model Year 56
K-built in Oakville
18833-serial number
18-Trim-CGA gray vinyl and green woven plastic
28-Paint-Killarney green
3-STD - 3 speed standard
3.73 - rear gear ratio
01143B - body number ???not sure what this means
Is it correct that the VIN plate is supposed to be on the inside of the glove box or is it supposed to be on the driver's front pillar?
Thanks,
Rob
