Slight bit cooler this morning...probably in the low 70's with no rain!! Hope it stays a little cooler for next weeks camping trip...taking the youngest two grandsons.

Nice mods so far on the new truck Doug...my days of leveling and lifting and running big tires are over! Looking to do more practical things since my truck was bought mainly for towing.

I have no plans to lift or level this one. When I get angry with these tires, or they wear out, I will replace with 295/65/20’s like I did with the previous truck. The factory tires lasted 59k on the last one, so it should be a while before these are replaced too. Traction in soft soil around my place is helpful. A lift or level would do nothing for me.

75* and heavy overcast with 82% humidity here so far. Yuck!

Thank you. I haven’t done any more mods since the ones posted from when I had just purchased. Now my truck is just over a year old, and rolled past 30k on my way to work this morning. The factory tires are still in good shape. The oil changes are right at 10k and the next one is due as of this morning.

Have you done anything else to your truck?

Fleece Cheetah Turbo, FASS and H&S filtration, AMDP turbo piping, EZ Lynk tuner, Luberfiner LPF9750 bypass filter, Bulletproof oil/water cooler, huge 10”base 8”top 12” long AFE filter with a wrap to feed it enough air, and just driving it. Almost 16mpg empty, hauls my trailers like nothing is there. No rush to buy a new one. Lol.

I seemed to recall you had done a lot previously, but weren’t completely happy. Sounds like that’s no longer the case!

I have no problem with none of it.
I do however have one question? Does FTE ever close threads? I am not a fan of that.

It's not very common but it happens. If moderators or administrators have to repeatedly come in and clean up threads where folks are being inappropriate or bickering, that will cause a thread to disappear. Selling outside the classified section is another way to get a thread gone quick. Other than that, things pretty much just run their course for eternity around here...LOL

Yeah, the Covid-19 thread over in the 2017+ subforum was not only closed, I think it got deleted.

Closing threads that are old is a bad idea, in my opinion. If someone has the same problem but would like to ask questions, what better place than an existing thread.
