There is a 53 F500 flatbed dump that I have kept an eye on the last 20 years. It is owned by a feed mill. ut they don't use it any longer. It has been sitting behind the mill for the last 10 years. I have talked to the owner time and again about it. He said he was going to fix it up and put the name of the mill on the doors and use it for light hauling and advertising. Then this summer I could not find it at the mill. I told him if he ever is going to scrap it to let me know as it has some good parts that I would hate to see scrapped. I stopped last week and the owner was not there. He called me yesterday and said he still has it. He said he doubts that he will fix it up. He said he would sell it, but he didn't sound definite. I asked how much and he didn't know.The would be buyer would have to give him an offer.....

It is near Mill Hall, PA. It is a 6 cylinder, deluxe cab. It has a Ford script flatbed. everything is there but whoever put the hoist lever in years ago cut up the dash badly. These pics are from several years ago. He said they did have it running with a can in engine bay for gas.

And no I will not buy it to give me a 53, 54 and a 55. Now if it were Meadow Green.....

 

I think you should buy it abe, then all you'd need is a 56...

Chris, why don't you come down to the Central PA Mountain Truckstock and buy it yourself! Or at least just come to Truckstock.
