GPR I/S labeled post issue
Somethings' horribly wrong. Installed new gpr and with my own switched ground wire to activate the relay, the gpr-led stays lit even when flipping the ground switch. Let alone, the led light started to smoke. So, thinking the switch is bad, i disconnect it so that means theres no ground to trip the relay, and that damn led still lit up...the "S" lug i have the 1wv ignition hooked to. The "I" was the ground but now open...any idears

Exactly, hoss..i was tryn to find it but no luck..did "solve" it though.
I did eff up the purchased relay. So, used the aih relay(had reinstalled it for cct purposes) and with aih wires tranferred over, i was seeing 3.85v without ground switch being flipped. I then looked at switch and saw at some point, my wires running to switch were melted together..Recut them and soldered but still seeing 3.85v at output lug with no ground established(led light lit faintly illuminated)...i removed the big ring blue wire and 12v cont from relay(aih wires) and what you no, the faint illuminated led was off. Hit switch and BAM, she bright...
I remember a thread years ago about tranferring all wires to 1 relay when you eliminated the aih. With no gpr led, youd never no.
