2017 Expy Platinum Build/Repair

Ignoring my other thread with the picture posting debacles, here is a fresh thread without all the crapola...
Quick back story: I bought a wrecked 2017 Expedition Platinum w/ 25k miles. After all was said and done, I've had to replace the steering rack, the front diff, hood, driver fender, headlight, upper & lower core support, radiator, condenser, trans cooler, and intercooler along with all the CAC and intake tubes. I have an Iron Bull bumper on order and should be arriving in another week or two. In addition to all that, I installed some towing mirrors this past weekend. I have a 24' enclosed trailer that I two my 69 Camaro and other things with. Here's a few pics:

Cool build. I think the EcoBoost will do decently with the big enclosed? Anything enclosed I’d never fun in the wind. Are you using a WD hitch?

Thanks. Yes, that's a definite on the wd and anti sway hitch. As long as I have that adjusted correctly, the truck and trailer tires aired up properly and the load balance right, my 07 Expy tows fantastic. I think the 17 will do even better. Especially with the 22" lower profile tires. Less sidewall flex.

Wow, it's been a few months, but that Expy is looking NICE. Does it tow as well as you'd expected? Good work, George

Sorry for the delay. For some reason I didn't get any notification that there was a reply. Thanks for the comment. This rig is excellent for driving, towing, whatever. I love it. I finally put a factory grille in it. I was able to buy one for $240 delivered. I've been looking since I bought it. I wasn't willing to spend $600+ for one...

Looks good. Did you add some spacers to mount the factory tow hooks with that bumper? I can't mount mine like they came from the factory with my Iron Bull bumper.

I didn't have to add spacers. I did read that I would have to remove them though. What's in the way on yours? Is it the same style bumper? Expedition?

It's the same bumper I just didn't get the winch mount or hoop. The bumper hangs down lower and the tow hooks won't bolt up flush to their mounts without hitting the bottom of the bumper. https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1...ew-bumper.html

Interesting. I ordered mine after you so maybe they shortened it a little on newer versions. I did notice that yours has much more of a gap under the headlights and at the fenders than I left on mine. Mine didn't come with the center filler piece installed so it might just allow me to adjust it higher. They sent me the filler piece later and I'm not sure I'm going to use it.
