Extension to do what?
I bought an air chuck extension for adding air.
I bought a extended air pressure gauge.
Got both at Auto Zone.
No big deal.

Where has he looked and how big is he looking for? Both of my last ford duallys had about a 1" long extention. As long as the wheels where clocked correctly when installed, there was no problems getting a air chuck on them

Going by what my buddy stated, he take his truck to the dealer they have to take the wheel off to add air. To me that would be a big deal.
If I remember right, he said he has tried a extended air chuck but the angle of the metal valve stem you cant get a metal extended chuck on it, and a extended hosed chuck (flexible) you cant get your fingers in there to hold it on the valve stem.

Someone is an idiot and put the wheels on wrong.
You have to line up the valves.
I had to correct the 16 year old kids at Discount about that one time.

If the dealer is doing that, I would find another dealer.

Milton S-690-12 Twelve Inch 1/4" FNPT Dual Head Air Chuck. This is the air chuck I use and works great for filling inner tire.

Valve stem extensions, https://www.bing.com/shop?q=tst+tire...BC0B798124A4FD

I have the 180 degree extensions on my rear duals -- for the TST Tire sensors.

Is there a technical reason the air valves have to be back to back?
