Default dash screen at start up

My truck starts up with the offroad screen. Is there anyway to change that?

You can change it with Forscan

My truck starts with the trailer screen it did not do this from new it started with the MPH screen with is what I want.now it doesn`t. You should not need Forscan to change this. It`s simple I`m sure just don`t know.

It will start usually with wherever you leave it from previous start cycle if your talking the main dash area. If your talking the 8”centre screen, that has to be modified by Forscan. It does default to towing when a trailer is plugged in. You have to deselect trailer, ie no active trailer and then change it to where you like.

Do you guys having issues have a trailer saved in your settings? Delete the trailer added that fixed my issues.

Choose no active trailer every time you unhook your trailer and that should stop that screen from appearing. At least it fixed it for me.

Just go into select trailer and select no active trailer. It will only defer to the towing status when you hook up the next trailer. It will even change to the setting when running and you connect a trailer. Otherwise, whatever screen when you shut down will appear when you next start up.

Ah! I wasn't thinking straight. I was thinking about the little "Built Ford Tough" intro video that comes up. My fault!

I only had to do this when I had 2 trailers saved to memory. Mainly did this to keep track of tire mileage. But after usually forgetting to select "no active trailer" after unhooking and coming up with a screen for one trailer or another I just deleted them all. Mileage had racked up on the truck for trailers that weren't even being towed due to my forgetfulness, so the original reason for having 2 trailer names stored became moot.
I have a business trailer that I tow several times per week. Now that I've deleted all specific trailers from memory, I find that I never have the trailer screen at startup anymore when the trailer is unhooked.
