Week update.
after several hundred miles I can say I'm sold on the product.
There's so many gemics out there to waist money on that promise instant results that it gets confusing.
This is a simple idea that I can say works as advised.
Running 35-12.5 E rated 10 ply heavy mud grips is a chore to keep them in check . If you want to get good (30k+) millage out of them .
Its constant rotation on time . And checking Balance.
I know two were bad out of balance . Had a bad hop at 50 mph and above.
This week has proven to me centramatic balance works.
The hop and bouncing has been totally corrected.
This is a product I would buy again . And wish I'd found years ago.
If I could find them for the wife's 2018 explorer I'd buy them today.
On that note I do love her new ford explorer.
I ordered it with heated . Cooled front seats that have MASSAGE in them.
On long trips my old bad back loves that option.

I just pulled the trigger on a set of these things. Coming back home after labor day weekend and the truck felt like it was cupping/bouncing pretty much the whole way. Did not do it a lick on the trip up on Friday night. I was thinking about waiting until after my new trans goes in so I can see the incremental differences, but if these things get here in time, then screw it because I am ready for this thing to drive like I know it can (and should).

@tigwelder
Are you still pleased with these after a few weeks of running?

Very interesting. I have a decent hop going on the rear axle with all terrains at about 70. With larger tires, balancing is hit or miss and what a pain to take the time to go to the shop...

May have to try a set. Nothing else to do with my truck, it's darn close to perfect. :-)

If you do not want to use the ring style like the centermatics then just put the balance beads directly in the tires like semi trucks do.

dynabeads work perfect on both my 37s and 40s

I bought a set for my truck and they seem to work. Still have minor out of balance but I haven’t taken off the wheel weights
Only thing that disappointed me was that I had to slightly grind where it goes on the hub because it would not fit over it
Y2KWS7 how do you like your ssbc brakes?

You didn’t grind the Balancers did you?? They’re filled with fluid. They have a slight offset to deal with interference issues. You simply turn them around...
If you look st this thread, 1st post, page down to the pictures of the rear wheels, you’ll see the offset on the Balancers.

I find these threads very interesting. The beads interest me in the cost savings but obviously the discs should last a long time. It would be nice to not have to see the wheel weights as well. I just bought new tires and every extra day I can get out of them wear wise would be nice. Also I suppose the next tire purchase would be cheaper if you don’t have to pay the $20 per tire to balance.

So now the choice. Beads or discs??

Ring balances are nice because they transfer easy from one set of tires to the next, down side is they look silly if you have open rims.

beads work better in my opinion since they have more effect being further out. Down side is transferring them from one tire to the next. There are dry beads which are easier, wet beads are a mess.

In the end it’s a personal choice, they both work.

Yes I did grind them, but not where you are thinking
They would not go over the bearing hub. I had to make them about.030 bigger

I've had the beads for over 6 years now and have no complaints. They work great.
They are a pain to switch to a new set of tires though, just takes more time.

So far ivI' been happy with mine.
had a pretty good hop in rear tires that has all but gone away .
I think it id crawl under truck and remove stick on weights from inside wheels it would completely be solved.

I just installed a set on the back of my F450. Seem to work fine, one down side is they make it harder to check air pressure on the inner tires.

If you could post a picture sometime of how they fit and how you check the inner dual I would appreciate it. I am considering these but am concerned as it is already a pain to check pressure. (looking for this specifically for the 19.5 dually wheels)

I do have the 19.5" wheels/tires. I can get my fingers on the inner valve stem but not sure I can actually check or add air. It may help if I flip over the centramatic ring so the offset is towards the outer wheel.

You could get valve extenders for the inner tires, may help.
