Rear seat stuck (down)

Title says it all... hit the little lever to flip the seat, but no action. Anyone else's bench seat ever get stuck??

If the latch is actually releasing, I'd give a spray of lubricant on the two front pivots and tap them with a hammer while trying to pull the seat up. If the latch isn't releasing, you might be able to unbolt the latch so you can lubricate it and try to figure out what's wrong with it.

Maybe push down first real quick while pressing the latch and the pull it up while the latch is still pressed.
