F100 Shortbed repair

I found a 67 shortbed locally that I am interested in buying. The truck looks fairly decent rust wise. The major issue is the rear of the bed. It was previously (15-20 years ago) used without the tailgate. It then looks to have been backed up into something which crushed the rear brace of the bed. The combination these 2 things ruined the strength of the bed and it started to sag on both sides. The bed floor is not rusted through, and all the other bracing is fine.
The question I have is, does anyone make this rear brace in an aftermarket? I am not sure what exactly this rear piece is called, so that may be why I'm having a hard time finding it.
I believe once that and the box side braces are replaced, it should straighten back up for the most part.
I would imagine worst case, I try to salvage one from a parts truck that is still in good shape.

Honestly, i would get a long bed and cut it down. That looks pretty bad, but maybe some of the other guys on here could be of more help to you.

Is there any value in it being an original shortbox vs a long ox truck shortened?

By the time you get done patching it, there won't be enough left from the factory for it to matter. The main thing is that the frame is a factory short bed frame and hasn't been cut, the bed is six of one half a dozen of the other at this point.

I would pull the bed off an clean it up and scope out the damage, if the bed floor is solid , I might try and repair the sides and get them straight and cut out damage on rear and add new metal , the side quarters if solid would straighten up an rebrace,,but a closer inspection is needed
