So My 03 7.3 Ex at 360K is finally giving me some trouble. The tranny was a rebuild done in 08 and 160k miles ago. The tranny has been perfect till now. No towing or anything.

Intermittently the tranny will hard shift from 2 to 3, and will not go into 4th gear. The OD light will start to flash.

Used the Auto Engenuity scanner
P 1746 pressure control solenoid a open circuit
P 1747 pressure control solenoid a short circuit
P 1760 pressure Control solenoid a short circuit Intermittent

Installed a new ford solenoid pack and problem went away for a couple of weeks, but now its back.

Not sure where to look next, It seams like an electrical problem, pcm, solenoid harness/connector? I would really like to diagnose before thinking rebuild, since it would suck to have the same problem latter, lol.
